Justin Bieber will be participating as part of 95.8 Capital FM’s Summertime Ball on Sunday 6 June at London’s Wembley Stadium. Let the shrill screams commence. The bill for the Summertime Ball is stacked including performances by heavyweights like Rihanna, Usher, JLS and Cheryl Cole. Justin Bieber is touring on his recent release “My World 2.0.” His debut album drew distinction for having seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time. He’s recently had crowd control issues, having to cancel a mall appearance in Canada as well as one in Austrailia when pre-teen girls overwhelmed security barriers. Grunge rock pioneers Pearl Jam are back with their latest release “Backspacer.” They’ve marked seven European tour stops on their upcoming concert calendar and London’s date is penciled in for Friday 25 June at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park. Other featured artists that will be performing on the 25th include Ben Harper, Wolfmother, Gomez and the Hives. Pearl Jam’s latest “Backspacer” is the band’s ninth album and their first album as a part of the Universal/Island Records family.
