Justin Bieber Comes to Wembley Stadium June 6

If you have a tweenie girl in the house you may want to step far away from them before reading the following. Justin Bieber will be participating as part of 95.8 Capital FM’s Summertime Ball on Sunday 6 June at London’s Wembley Stadium. Let the shrill screams commence. The bill for the Summertime Ball is stacked including performances by heavyweights like Rihanna, Usher, JLS and Cheryl Cole. Justin Bieber is touring on his recent release “My World 2.0.” His debut album drew distinction for having seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time. He’s recently had crowd control issues, having to cancel a mall appearance in Canada as well as one in Austrailia when pre-teen girls overwhelmed security barriers. Tickets for the Summertime Ball will go onsale to the general public Saturday 19 April at 9:00. Ticket prices range from £45.00 to £49.00. The Summertime Ball helps support the Help a London Child charity, donating £100,000. Get your tickets quick because this hot bill promises to sell out quick.

Lady Gaga Dazzles the O2 Arena May 30-31

You’ve seen the outrageous outfits. You’ve heard the hype. Now its time to experience the fabulous Lady Gaga stage show spectacular for yourself. The queen of glam has her eyes set on the O2 Arena. She’ll be unleashing her Fame Monster extravaganza in a double-dose on Sunday & Monday 30-31 May at 19:00. The stop is just one on her feverish world tour that has her on a continuous globe trotting mission to spread her infectious pop to every man, woman and child. Kings of Leon Rocks Hyde Park on June 30

It was damn near impossible to turn on a radio or television last summer without getting sonically whacked by “Use Somebody” or “Sex on Fire.” Thankfully, Kings of Leon’s airplay has ebbed in the days since, but their overflowing talent is still firmly on display in their latest release “Only by the Night.” The Nashville rock-quartet is slated to play London’s Hyde Park on Wednesday 30 June at 16:00. They’ve stocked the musical cupboard bringing along for support the Black Keys, The Drums, The Whigs and The Features. Tickets for the Hyde Park show go onsale to the general public via Ticketmaster UK on Friday 19 February at 09:00. Members of the Kings of Leon Fan Club will be able to take a stab at advanced tickets on Wednesday 17 February at 12:00. Tickets are 52.25, and this event is all general admission.

Jack Johnson Surfs into O2 Arena on June 30

Perennial beach bum Jack Johnson is escaping the swaying palm trees and the decadent luaus this summer for the rainy, fog-caked London? I’m sure this makes total sense in some bizarro world. Jack will be strumming his way into London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday 30 June at 18:00. Mojave 3 will be providing opening musical support. He’s making the concert rounds in anticipation of the release of his latest album “To The Sea” which hits the HMV on June 1.

John Mayer Plays Wembley Arena on May 26-27

Guitar virtuoso, John Mayer is laying low from his dating trials and tribulations while he jumps the pond to play London’s Wembley Arena on Wednesday and Thursday 26-27 May at 19:30. The follow-up to the acclaimed album “Continuum,” “Battle Studies” fuses 70’s and 80’s pop/rock influences that recalls Tom Petty and the Police.

Rihanna Seduces the O2 Arena on May 10-11

Sexpot Rihanna is fresh off throwing her abusive boyfriend Chris Brown to the curb and exploring her more deviant side through her latest release “Rated R.” Rihanna has scheduled an eleven-date tour of the UK and will be stopping in on London’s O2 Arena on Monday and Tuesday 10-11 May at 18:30. Tinchy Stryder and Pixie Lott will provide opening support for both shows and Tine Tempah will join in on the opening fun on the 11th show. Rihanna will also be circling back for an appearance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 6 June at 14:00. The Summertime Ball will also include performances by Justin Bieber, JLS, Ke$ha and Usher. Pearl Jam Drops Hammer on Hard Rock Calling June 25

Grunge rock pioneers Pearl Jam are back with their latest release “Backspacer.” They’ve marked seven European tour stops on their upcoming concert calendar and London’s date is penciled in for Friday 25 June at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park. Other featured artists that will be performing on the 25th include Ben Harper, Wolfmother, Gomez and the Hives. Pearl Jam’s latest “Backspacer” is the band’s ninth album and their first album as a part of the Universal/Island Records family.
